Heeeeeeelp !

Got my suspension stuck on the lowest height! Im using a snap on solus and was recalibrating the ride height , ive now somehow got it stuck , wished id not touched it Big Cry

Give the pump a bit of time to cool down then check/clear codes and try again! 2004 td6 l322 - gone
Now 2007 tdv8 l322

Or youve lowered it past the hight sensor perameters so would need to physically jack the car up for it to see the sensors... Neutral

Would have thought that the sensor would still read on the bump stops though, as that would be the lowest it could possibly go?? I am going to attempt this on my snapon machine at some point so would be good to know either way 2004 td6 l322 - gone

I had no issues with my 05 model.

Lowered the access and running heights individually and they stayed like that for 18 months before I reverted it back to standard and sold the car.

Only issue was that the ride was considerably firmer and that was with only a 15mm drop. Cornered and looked miles better though.

I used an IID tool.

Don’t know about the snap on kit but the RSW Allcomms has a specific program for setting the EAS heights.

If its a snap on solus it will only have calibration bit thats what i used and look what happened Shocked

I don't mind buying a tool aslong as it will defo sort the suspension side of the FF but buying iiD just for doing that is a bit much Neutral

Well had a go at mine using snapon modis edge and what a massive pain!! Gave up in the end. Then realised that i have different wheels on than standard so that will mess up the height between centre of hub to wheel arch! The iidtool was so so much more simple!

It raised then lowered everytime and even on a new compressor it had to cool before it would continue 2004 td6 l322 - gone
Now 2007 tdv8 l322

The RSW Allcoms has a specific program for the suspension calibration and is not locked to a VIN so if you can borrow one you might have a chance.
One of the warnings it does give before using it is that the suspension should not have any faults but by the sound of it you don't have much to lose.

I don't know if any of the Icarsoft tools can calibrate the suspension as they are probably the cheapest diagnostic tools you can buy that actually do something more than just read faults.

bit of an update , rangeys been left till this morning as I just haven't had the time spare to work on it , I borrowed a snap on Modus as I was told it had more functions on than the Solus but its exactly the same for Landrover , so I tried Bmw E53 X5 and it accesses the suspension just fine , now ive managed to get the car level but only at the low setting , I tested individual raise / lower function and all worked well but I still cannot get the car to stay at the normal road height , the front just sinks back down once I start moving
is there a specific order or method I need to use to get a response from the toggle ?? any help / hints will be very helpfull

Does it help if you press the toggle button in which is the inhibit movement witch, worth a try?
Have you got any lights on the the switch or next to it indicating the height?
When i have had suspension locked out i have had to go in and use allcomms or faultmate to clear the fault and bring the system back to life
