Sat nav fault identified as gps antenna. The part number is LR 059750. JLR currently out of stock with no know date for supply. A bit of a long shot, has anyone got one spare which of course I would buy.

If you're at all handy, you could mount any 5V coaxial GPS antenna in the existing housing - they're reasonably cheap enough to give it a try.

If you search on eBay for CPLA19C089CC (the engineering part number for LR059750) there are plenty to be found.
Sellers tend to quote this number which is printed on a label in the aerial rather than the stock number which is usually only found on the box the part comes in.

Be aware the list price new is about £65

Many thanks, that’s helpful. I will wait and see what JLR come back with on delivery times and then make a decision on a secondhand unit.

My satnav now working fine, was the aerial, about £65 from main dealer, easy fit under headlining. Couple of plugs and two nuts with washers and a spreader plate.

bit late to this thread but i had DAB problems where in certain areas my signal would drop...this happen always after rain and never when the weather was dry..
figured out it was water accumulating in the little channel around the roof antenna and leaking into the electronics..

solution was to put a thin bead of black mastic around the base of the antenna...problem solved ... ... - .- -.

Yes, whilst the aerial base has two slimline gaskets I gave both of them a lick of sealant. Should stop any future issues.

Yes - every time I turn the engine on I have to resent the country to GBR, where it stays until I turn it off. (Apparently the sat nav manufacturer is based in Belgium).
The postcode icon is permanently greyed-out, irrespective of which country is set.
Anyway, the extended warranty company has agreed to pay for the fix, so we will never know....

Did you ever find out what part was replaced or how they fixed it
