IID causing reset of everything

Guys is this normal?

I entered CCF mode to enable DRL (the fairy lights). It all uploaded then I heard the clock rewind backwards to 12 o clock. Then it said Upload failure. However the DRL's are on now. All I had to do was reset the time/date and all my radio stations again.

I *think* a reset is normal with a change to CCF, it was the failure I was concerned about. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

I did. It switched off the ignition and restarted it. Then it all went off and the clock wound back
