] Does that really work? I thought it was independent of the heat settings. Mine gets warm enough to defrost the windows, but I wouldn't call it toasty! And as previously mentioned, it cools off really quickly. Perhaps I'll try it - if I remember! 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE |

I think the timed climate uses the FBH to heat when it's cold and just blows ambient air to cool when it's hot. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE |

I’m glad I kept this remote now! Bought it three years ago to try and work with my 2002 TD6.

For definite answers you will need to read if there are any faults logged from the FBH with a diagnostic tool.

Mine stays on for about 15 mins, you can hear the roar from the FBH once you close and the cabin tenp is toasty if you get in just after it stops. Hope that helps 2015 4.4 AB

Get the codes read. It could be a low battery, a glow plug malfunction (the system starts but there’s no spark) or it could be sooted up and over-rides the ignition sequence so as not to start a 🔥 |
