park heating

Hey guys,

i just got a 2011 Vogue 3 days ago, so im still figuring out all is toys and what not lol,

I have the fuel burning heater and im just trying to figure out if its working properly, i think it is

I turn on the remote and i can hear the thing fire up sounds like a turbine and then clicking every few seconds, the blowers do blow but after 15 mins or so the cabin is only luke warmish its not hot

Is this normal?

Cheers

Depends on outside temperature but I would say 15 min is the absolute minimum to have much effect on mine. Takes the edge off though and positively toasty if you leave it a little longer. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Turns off after 30 min. Mine takes 20-25 min to be teally noticeable if outside is frosty. Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8

Think itโ€™s less on the later cars....my manual says 20 min if I remember right. Was 30 min on my TD6.

Depends on lots of things when it comes on, battery voltage, outside temperature, fuel level....

It gets warm enough to defrost Windows, but thatโ€™s about it.

Yours sounds like itโ€™s working fine to me.

If you get into the RR after 20 mins and the FBH is working properly then it should be toasty. I find that if you get in 5 mins after the FBH has stopped then the RR is already starting to cool. 2015 4.4 AB

We've just bought a 2010 MY 3.6 SE. I have a T91 remote that i bought two years ago and I'm wondering how to pair it with the car if anyone can assist?

Check the Wiki or do a search Andy.

Pairing the remote involves pulling a fuse, but I can't remember the sequence.

Turn up the heat setting the night before to full and it will be really toasty the next day. Works for me on the timed option. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Top of my head re the pairing but i think its disconnect the power to the FBH receiver by the fuse board in the re rear right ( as your
looking from the back of the RR) panel. Press the ' off ' button on the T91 and replug in the power lead to the FBH receiver and robert in your dads brother ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ ( i think ) 2015 4.4 AB

For an 11MY this works, possibly the same for yours Andy.

Remove fuse 16 (5amp) in the rear load space fuse box

Replace it and within 5 seconds press the OFF button on the remote for at lest 1 second.

To confirm, press the off button and a continuous red light will show if successful. If flashing, pairing failed. check remote batttery and repeat.

Read somewhere that of the light is orange-ish, the remote battery is failing/failed. Cheers
Richard
