No worries, I think there is a guide on here somewhere - if not, the workshop manual is in the wiki. it's fairly straightforward to do, just keep the fuel side as clean and protected as you can and remember to bleed the low pressure side before attempting to start afterwards. If you're lifting the engine by jacking the sump, put blocks between the sump and the jack and jack it on the edge - it's the strongest part.

Hi ,
I have this same problem at the moment on the drivers side.
Is it a difficult job to replace the gasket ? Ive not done a lot of work on diesel engines.

By the way, it is Toms (TJH1985) old car . Not that it matters just thought id let him know its still going strong.

thanks,
Andy

Ahh 😌 i probably should have done both banks then, at the time I really didn’t want to disturb something that wasn’t leaking and potentially cause further issues. Odd that it would take another 4 years to start leaking though.

Hope the car is still going well, we still often talk about it / miss it! Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Hi Tom
Yes she still looks great, I do spend the money when needed.
I ended up putting her into a Land rover specialist and a new genuine land rover inlet manifold/ cam cover was fitted.
No more leak.

Cheers,
Andy
