Wiper blades

The wiper blades on the 322 were one of its weaknesses, delighted that the 405 is better. mine now need replacing and seem quite unique, do I have to go to a stealer or is there a better alternative. letters not necessarily in the right order

These are the ones. Unbelievable value and less the branding, they replicate the originals.

Even if the linked eBay advert has expired they can still be bought online 👍🏻

They didn't fit mine as mine dont have the curved end to the arm. Mine have a square block which accepts a square block type receiver. I haven't found replacements for mine yet. Sad

A question for the knowledgeable.............. How do you get the rear wiper on an L405 to park in a position to change it?

This from another thread :-

WIPERS SERVICE POSITION
Before changing a front wiper blade, the wiper
arms must be set in the service position as
follows;
Note: The Smart Key must remain in the
vehicle while wiper blades are replaced.
1. Ensure that the ignition is turned off.
2. Turn the ignition on then off again.
3. Immediately push the wiper control down
to start the single wipe operation and turn
on the ignition again.
The wipers will move to their service
position.
4. When the new parts have been fitted, turn
the ignition off. This will return the wipers
to park position.

This parks both the fronts and the rear wiper blade in the service position Thumbs Up SDV8 AB MY 2019

I tried the above but with no success. With the key inside the cabin I turned the ignition on and off, dipped the wiper control immediately and then switched the ignition on again. Nothing! Big Cry
Am I doing something wrong?

Without any prior recommendations, I recently tried Michelin Stealth blades (via Costco & very good price) which have been exceptionally good. Quieter than the Bosch blades I had on before. I’ve been able to increase by a notch the intermittent sensitivity setting.

Strongly recommend.

Hi I have replaced mine with Mr Tee version and wish I had not. Embarassed

Every now and again they come loose and I have to ckick the wipers back into the slot - they have never fallen out just make a clicking sound on return - very annoying. Shocked

I’m now regretting them tbh, I bought them on the back of another thread, my drivers side stopped clearing properly on the return ,right in line of site. I bought another and it was exactly the same straight out the packet so I’m now looking for another. Think the Bosch std jobs from halfords will do ..
