One touch window lift

I don’t have one touch window lift and I can’t find it in the IID to install it. Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

On the driver's door:

Open the window with the switch. Release, hold switch down for a few seconds.

Close the window with the switch. Release, hold the switch up for a few seconds.

Repeat for each window.

You've had the battery off recently???? Cheers
Richard

It didn’t work when I bought it.
I have had the battery off yes. I tried to fit the 110aH but it didn’t fit!

I’ll try that trick. Thanks

Sorry about that. I'm not sure if your model has the same switches as mine, two clicks when pushing or pulling. Maybe a subtle difference in model years.

I can't look at mine as she's in for a little paint, but I'll have a look at the GAP when she's back to see if I can find anything to help.

Perhaps in the meantime someone with a bit more nous will be along. Cheers

Try engine running and all four doors closed. Open the drivers window first and hold the button down without releasing it, hold it down for about 10 seconds and you should hear the relay reset itself with a soft click. If that doesn’t work try holding it down for a bit longer. Then repeat in the opposite direction to set the window close function, if that works do the same for the other windows.

The sunroof has to be held in the tilt position on the button for longer, something like twenty or so seconds to set the auto close / open function.

Hope this works, it does for me Thumbs Up ______________________________

It’s only the drivers door that does it. All the other windows are ok.

@rjff - It is s two stage button as well same as yours .

Yes mine is a two stage button. I seem to recall seeing somewhere on here a post about this. IIRC some corrosion had ocurred in the door switch. Perhaps a little water ingress when the window was open and/or the washers used. I know it sounds a long shot, but I'll see if I can find it agin.

In the meantime, I see you've posted in General about being a bit unhappy with things at the moment. How's about putting up all the bits concerning you and I'm sure all on here will try to help.

Oh, could you also update us on the model year and other details on your car. I assume it's a 2011 TDV8 with the 8 speed box. Thumbs Up

Just found your details in another thread, ignore last comment. Smile Cheers
