If SOTA is enabled a message will come up on the screen to tell you an update is ready to download and install. Thumbs Up All LR cars from 1984

Quick one chaps......in Kims Evoque.....it would appear she has the original version of the softare which Ive copnnected to our wifi as we have outside transmitters, anyway do I need to have it back into the dealer to get the later product as it looks like it updates her "Live" info as an update but I cant seen anywhere to see the software "version" or update the full product?

Any help would be appreciated - It's a Evoque Cab with inControl Pro Duo and an active subscription.

If its the original software then it won't have SOTA available and needs to be updated at the dealers.

Topix does show an outstanding campaign "N377v3 - InControl Touch Pro Update" for that vehicle.

You should receive a letter with the following text:

Quote:
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):
Registration Number:
Bulletin Number: N377

Date: month/year
Introducing new features and improvements for your Land Rover's Infotainment system

Dear

Full details of this update can be found below and if you wish to receive this update please book a visit with your preferred Land Rover Retailer or Authorised Repairer so that our Land Rover technicians can complete it for you.

This free update brings you the following enhancements:

An upgrade to the navigation and entertainment system, including new features, fixes and our latest touchscreen interface. Your vehicle will also be enabled to receive future updates, if you wish to, directly from Land Rover at a time and location that suits you. Updates can be received by using a WiFi connection or by inserting a SIM card (subject to vehicle specification). You will no longer need to visit your preferred Retailer or Authorised Repairer to receive future system updates. Lovely, thanks mate.

Is that a letter in the post do you think? Is that what you meant? Just as its a lease car so might goto the Lex leased company? lol

Either way looks like it will need to go back. I'm just annoyed at it was in for 3 days getting new heating done, and they could have bleeding done this at the same time!!!

I think my days are well and truly over with LR. all smug in my new plug!

The date of v3 of the bulletin is 18th Dec so it may not have been sent yet, although I would have thought you should have received the letter by now, so it may have just gone to the leasing company.

I didn't get a letter from the dealer about SOTA etc so I rang them and they took the car in and enabled it.
