Anybody know if Software over the Air (SOTA) will be available to MY17 cars? I have been updated to infotainment 19A however, I’ve been told by my LR garage that SOTA will only be available to MY19 cars... 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

SOTA capability was introduced on 18C/D however it has not gone live yet

You will need a data sim in the cubby box, or be connected to a WiFi network once the feature does go live

Thanks. I can see that the capability exists; I'm just unsure if the MY 17 hardware is able to do SOTA updates or whether the MY 19 cars have different hardware and hence have the capability to do SOTA updates. 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

I was speaking to a lady over the weekend who helped test SOTA on a Disco 5 and she says it should be ready any time now!

She also confirmed that LR knew they would have software issues as they tried to be clever and develop it all themselves instead of using what most other car manufacturers do and buy it in!

Have you got it turned on in TOPIx?
SOTA needs to be enabled on TOPIx first to allow the vehicle to know that there is any updates available

I don't think SOTA is available yet is it? All LR cars from 1984
