Pray for me...

In a few hours, I am going to remove the drivers door card and attempt to remove and replace the damaged drivers door glass. You have but a short time to cross your fingers, hold your breath and perhaps offer any final pointers to this brave/rash/insane action.

The prayers worked !!. Would say doorcard is the most difficult part as it always sounds like its going to tear in two as you prise it away. Then there's all the £$£@ wiring connectors that need to be undone , all of which seem to have a differentway of being attached. The glass is easily removed from the arm that sends it up and down and with the help of an extra pair of hands, can be removed via the window slot. New one put back the same way and then rewire doorcard but dont put card back until you have tested every switch and listened to every speaker !
