The FSR does not log any faults when it fails, so no errors to clear.

Replacing the FSR should allow the fan to start working again, but if it doesn't, then you either have a faulty FSR or a faulty fan motor.

I assume you have checked the relevant fuses?

Mike

Or faulty wiring - some have found burnt out wires or corrosion in or to the connector.

Also, make sure that the FSR is properly seated in its cavity, if it isn't it can quickly "blow" again. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Currently going through similar issues - the air that comes out does not get hot though.

Is your coolant warming up _ I am pretty sure my thermostat is stuck open and will be replacing it as soon as I get some more coolant

I guess it does warm up because it is hot when 28 is set;some sensor or valve issue may be? 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.

So the FSR is used to control the speed of the fan.

The FSR gets very hot and uses the flow of air to keep it cool and working....hence the suggestion to make sure it''s seated in the airflow correctly.

If the fan blows cold air, then your problem lies elsewhere, such as in the heater matrix or coolant system.

An air conditioner specialist said the air blender flap motors are faulty.
Thats why it cant mix correct temperature.
I know some cars can reset those flaps easily;like by holding two buttons starts the process.
Is there a way to reset those flaps? 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.

Interesting Update...
Blower started to shut down itself.
When i could not find the previous unit i put the old style unit i took out from old 03 car.
Now everything works fine including fine tuning. Bow down
Fingers crossed!!! 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.
