FYI the brackets are very specific for this one as are the seatbelts.

I ended up doing a low ball offer and got them- can the brackets not be fabricated fairly easily? It look like a tube that mounts the back seat? Seat belts I was going to use generic lap belts? Current stable:

The above are off an ebay listing

This is a pic of all the metal parts from mine when I took the whole lot apart.
I got them all acid cleaned and powder coated. The upper brackets are not shown in this pic. These are held by the head rests' metal rods. They are the upper seatbelt anchors and have a bit of geometry and I think it would be hard to make them (see below for a better pic). I also would think about compliance.

Here's one of those brackets that I am covering in colour matched Ivory vinyl to match my interior. The covering is a bit of an experiment but because they sit atop the seats I wanted them to look nice and not bare metal as standard, and not powder coated like the rest of the parts. I had to heat the bracket and the vinyl to 100 degrees and then stretch it over all the lumps and curves. It looks good from two feet. I hit a little snag when I sheared off the seatbelt bolt on the left. I called Securon whose name is on the seatbelts and bless them they sent me some new bolts last week.

I don't have a pic of it all assembled but it all looks very nice. I don't leave it in the car because you can't leave the parcel shelf in place with the seats in. But fitting is only 10-12 mins so for occasional use it's fine for me.

Willtake a few more pix when I go out to the car later.

I have electric recline rear seats and it does work with this option with a slight restriction on the amount of recline.

I like this system because the fit is non-destructive. There is another kit that you have to drill into the pillars.

. Cheers, Greg

Dan also just to let you know this set up is a 3-point belt. Lap and sash I think they call it. In my pic the vinyl covered bracket is the high mount point for the sash. I wouldn't recommend you fit lap only.

Jut looking t your pic , seat belts aside I am just missing the two brackets to the right of the tape measure - I’m sure they could be fabricated if someone would be kind enough to measure them Smile the upper brackets you mention not pictured are the for the belt of the seat? Seatbelts I think I will have to tap and die and maybe fabricate something for the buckles like yours Smile. Thanks Current stable:

Look at the the two ebay pix above, There are five pieces (excluding belts).

2 x pieces with protruding rods
These hold the reels , hook into the main rear seat latches, and the rods protrude towards the centre of the car, you will have sockets on the 7-seater seat back (also shown bottom of my bit photo.

2 x pieces flatish with two holes each
These are the upper belt anchors that fit into the headrests, one is also shown in the pic where I vinyl covered it

1 Long piece with two hook ends.
This is for the two belt sockets and the hooks hook onto hooks already in your boot floor under your rear seats. This piece lies flat on the boot floor and the 7-seater seat is on top of this.

. Cheers, Greg

Thanks - I have checked the laws and safety and I think I’m going to go with lap belts as unless you have a high speed crash in reverse they will pretty much be as efficient and you are the wrong way round. I don’t suppose in that case you would be kind enough to take a couple more close up pics of the two brackets that hold the seats to the back seats with the tubes? Even better would be some measurements I can fabricate some then. Thanks! Current stable:

If they are loose you would but I have sat in the back and even if you are a giant if they are tight there is no way you’d hit the glass unless the hit you so hard the glass came to you but by then you’ve got bigger problems like your legs! Current stable:
