Split boot on right offside CV joint

Just starting to weep grease

Stealer wants 370.
Home DIY thoughts?
I don’t see the need for any particular special tools....

England

Front or Back, Inner or Outer ?

You will need the correct socket (36mm 12pt) and a decent length/size breaker bar to undo the hub nut, if it is not rusted away...

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I’ve got this lovely job to do this week. I’ve bought a new GKN CV gaiter.
I’ve done a few driveshafts in the past and I’ve always removed the CV joint in situ - leaving the main section on the car. Has anyone managed to do this on a full fat? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
