Lets talk door handles

So I have a question - have the doorhandles on all of the ff l322s from 02 to 12 all been the gun metal grey colour? or were some factory colour coded? or after 10 did they move to the lighter silver like a few other trims?

Thanks! Current stable:

Factory colour coded was an option I think for later ones, are you thinking of painting them ?

well my new to me s/c in Zermatt has the nasty black covers on them and looking in it looks like they are the standard silver that has worn.

On my older epsom green 4.4 I went to the trouble of buying brand new shells as I got the right colour brand new £200 for the lot - not so much luck on the colour in Zermatt on a deal like this. So I still have those four in green and was thinking of spraying the whole thing in Zermatt silver and swapping them out and would just need to do the lock barrel separately... Current stable:
