The leak off pipes have a clip that can be pulled outwards like this:

If they haven’t been replaced, replace the o rings with genuine LR replacements they are prone to going hard and then leaking and cost nothing compared to the effort to get at them at a later date.

I used the correct Injector removal tool and raised the engine when I had ours stripped down with fuel lines removed. Basically followed the Workshop method probably added half a hour lifting it which was mainly being ultra careful!

Thanks for the further help. I'm now deeper in so thought I'd give more updates.

I decided for room to remove the shield / half box that houses the brake fluid reservoir and other bits. 5 or 6 bolts and a bit of giggling and it's out. This gave me room to get the abs module and the bracket out and the brake lines up and out of the way to give more room to get the fuel line clips out.

These are really fiddly. I put a few microfibre towels around them to catch the clips as they fly out when you work them free. I couldn't really get a screwdriver in after doing number 1 injector so used a 90 degree pick to prise them out and this worked fine. Injectors all came out with a small lift with my smallest pry bar after a bit of side to side wiggling.i got them out only removing the fuel rail connectors too.

Last injector is free but I can't get a 25mm spanner in so it's going to have to be lift the engine for clearance. Does anyone have any tips for tips? Plan is undo RH top mount with a jack under the sump with some wood to spread the load. This was the guidance I got from a Facebook group and seems good to me. Just need to find the engine mount now! Hi. I've replaced my right inlet manifold so I know exactly what you're going through.

As for splitter the rear most injector, I think I ended up using an adjustable spanner on the 25mm nut. The angle was tricky but it was possible. I didn't fancy lifting the engine. There was a post recently about splitting the injectors.

Once that's done, you're on to the manifold itself. Just lots of small bolts. At the front end, there something that fouls the manifold removal, can't remember but I think it is the brake vacuum pump. I tried to leave that in place and manoeuvre the manifold around it but it just wasn't possible. In the end, undid the mounting bolts, some of which are hidden underneath the unit, think there were 3 in total. You do not need to remove the brake vacuum pump fully, just leave it sitting there loosely and the manifold will come out.

Good luck!
