Right its payday and I've got my bonus so the FFRR is getting a new set of anchors all round. My rears are very shot and i now have a band round the outside of corrosion/scale. its as if the pads aren't touching the full braking surface. Could someone with the 4.4 petrol let me know if this is correct or has some spanner put the wrong pads in?
Anyone know of any good places for disc's and pads. Quite fancy some of the discs with the anti corrosion coating. i had EBC discs on my VX220 and they were awesome. would like them again but cant see almost 3 tones pulling up as quick or noticing any real difference in stopping power.

done my fronts recently and got them of ebay, discs and mintex pads for around £70 delivered, rear combos are slightly cheaper.. ... - .- -.

I recently (uprated) the discs and pads all round on my P38 and my CLK and wondered about doing it to the FFRR as well. I just got slotted/drilled/grooved discs all round on the P38 and they work great and look good as well.

I got a set of Mintex discs n pads. They seem great so far..! Ash

some decent prices on fleabay and i've checked that they are genuine Brembo parts

Rear brakes don't work as hard as the fronts, therefore they tend to build up that rusty ring around the edge. Take the vehicle for a drive at 70mph and when there is nothing behind you slam on the brakes hard, do this a few times and the rust should clear off, it will also deglaze the brakes making them more efficient.

make sure they are the correct thickness nick, they might be different because of the brembo callipers..
