you shouldnt have any problems by simply changing the battery..i suspect theres a loose wire somewhere that you may have missed..

I would start by looking at the bonnet lid switch., but it is a wild guess.

Try your spare key ! Have had a bad key-fob battery do this. If no good; lock car wait 3 mins and try again, the immobiliser might need re-setting.

Update: Having run out of daylight, I left the car for 48hrs and guess what... ...it started 1st time, but also now says restricted performance. Very odd electrical gremlins! |
