yes both sides dont work and yes there are 2 relays as in the L322 Mike.....

i dont know if its the screen or the electrics feeding the screen, but thats a good call re trying another dealer.. |

I I R C, the feeds are from the A Pillars. Had one done a few years ago and seem to remwmber the connections there. Tony

The wiring for the 2 sides of the heated front screen is from a junction box in the engine bay .The relay is common to both sides and after that the 12 v feed splits into 2 , each of which is protected by a 40amp fuse . I suppose you could use a test meter in these points ( with the engine running ) . If there is no 12V at the relay then its down to the switch itself or the body control module . If there is 12v at the fuses then its the screen or more likely the connection to it . If you have a diagnostic then you will be able to see the BCM go live ? |
