The rear windscreen wash wipe is failing to do anything other than scratch the window today as there is no water squirting out. Any solutions/ common faults. The water bottle is full. It's not frozen.

The pipes run along the roof - they could be frozen. Do you use propper anti freeze/screenwash?

Or it could be the one way valve has failed because of the above. 

Blocked nozzles? It's a common problem. If left unfixed it can lead to the motor filling with screenwash fluid. Fairly poor design really.

Take off the upper trim on the inside of the tailgate and remove the pipe from the motor. Place pipe in a jar and test. If it flows freely it's the nozzles. If not, possibly the pump or fuse.

I sent my car into LR for a same problem naively thinking it would be covered by the LR approved warranty. Sadly it was not and I paid about £20 to have the rear jet and one way valve cleaned.

This did the trick and its working perfectly now.

Mine was the same, tried the pin in the nozzles but it only dribbled out, bought a new arm, the old one was so corroded it did not hold the wiper against the screen, and now working fine.

thats what its supposed to do, work intermitantly. It has a pause so it only scooshes when the scoosher is pointing at the main part of the window. I can assure you its the little valve just before it exits the nozzel. The pipe freezes then burst a little none return type valve and this stops the scoosher from working. Its not an electrical fault!

You can buy the valve from you dealer for only £5...probably costs about 10p to make.

Mine has never worked but changed the valve and put pins in the nozel on the wiper arm cap, all good now. L322 2002 4.4 V8 LPG

Just been out to check mine and the rear wiper arm is solid with corrosion. Where is the cheapest place to get a new one and what's the part number?

You can try ebay but I reckon it would be quicker and easier and not much more just to get one from your local dealer. Discovery 4 HSE

I fitted a new rear arm a couple of weeks ago, cost around £20.00 from LR
