Annoyance items on FullFat

Okay so six weeks in and I've got my annoying things on the car which get me.

1. deployable steps take too long when opening the door. Sounds silly but I then wait another 3 or so seconds for them to pop down.

2. Fuel gauge waits 2minutes before realising I've just added fuel

3. I have the autoB so have massage seats and without using the massage function if i use the lumber support button to push against my back it doesn’t stay as it is it slowly goes back to normal. Is this because of the massage function or Fault maybe?

I've never been a fan of the steps for the same reason - others find them quick enough, but mine stay turned off.

Fuel gauge seems OK on mine - I've not really looked at it, but I do have the range displayed and that always seems to show about the right level as soon as I start up after filling.

No massage seats for me, but lumbar OK - I'm not sure how it works but if it's some sort of inflatable bag, then maybe you have a leak.....

Something is wrong with your steps if they're taking 3 seconds to deploy. Mine swing out faster than you can open the door.

the stop/start was annoying but I've sorted that..

the little dribble of water at the top of the drivers windscreen after using the windscreen wipers wash........but at least it doesnt come down the side of the drivers window like the L322..

sun reflecting on the silver bit of the centre console...

other than those, which are minor annoyances there's nothing else i can think of.. ... - .- -.

No issues with my steps, they’re the fixed ones!

My only gripe is the sharp edge of the tailgate. If you’re tall, you will catch your head on it and it hurts!

When I open the door after its been raining, water drops on to the drivers seat, don't know whether it sits in the seal somewhere. Didn't happen on my D4, but in the grand scheme of things its still a fabulous car.

Lack of analogue clock. When all the media stuff is off why cant you have an analogue clock in the centre of the dash rather than Land Rover, I know its a sodding Land Rover. As a old man who needs to put on reading glasses to see small numbers I want to be able to glance at a clock face and know it is half past. letters not necessarily in the right order

On MY 2017 one can have a digital analogue clock display between the speedo and rev counter, selected through the buttons on the steering wheel. Maybe later years too?

The thing I find most annoying is that the gesture tailgate can open and close the tailgate when something (e.g. a dog running about, or a sponge used in washing the rear of the car) gets in range of the sensor, leading to damage to the tailgate from hitting the garage door in my case, but also injuries as pictured elsewhere on here when the tailgate unexpectedly comes down on someone's head, or spilling liquids in containers standing on the lower tailgate. One cannot disable that function other than (say) wrapping the key in foil while washing the car. Only Range Rovers since 1988

2015 MY. Speed displayed by numbers in the lower middle of the speedo are way too small, more likely to have an accident trying to find them to check your speed. It’s probably not helped by the fact I need glasses for reading but not for driving. I don’t know if this has changed on newer models.

My electric side steps also deploy quicker than you can get out Thumbs Up
