As far as I know, the automatic EPB is an option you can "turn" on or off with the IID Tool. if I switch in "P" and turn ignition off there is no EPB coming to work. I have it same as Stan, on Train, Ferry or parking on steep hills I use Parking brack, other then that; don't touch.
