The key is to assess the degree of correction required. You don’t want to remove more of the clear coat than is necessary. Badly swirled and scratched paintwork will require a polish with higher cutting ability than paint work that is in good condition. The pads also have different levels of density for different levels of correction.

Because of the sheer size of a ff I tend to break it up into sections and do it over a few weeks. For example I’ll do the near side front wing and door one day and do the rear wing and door a few days later.
