Same, last owner fitted these tyres to my 4.2 SC, probably because he knew he was selling and they are awful, especially in the wet.

My usual tyre guy is recommending Falken 510 SUV as a good alternative to Pirelli. Personally, I am sticking with Pirelli.

Fortunately for me the chap who owned my L322 before me had just put 4 brand new Scorpion Verde's on and then had a windfall. He's bought a new Merc and I don't have to worry about tyres for a while!

Dunc. The life you have is the only one you'll get; make the most of it.

Nice, lucky you Smile

The person who bought my Mercedes-AMG GL has similar luck. It had unique size tyres, but 2 weeks before exchange I got a puncture that couldn't be repaired and I couldn't find the same tyres in the whole of the country. And it is not the kind of vehicle to have like a singular different tyre on it, so he got four brand new ones...Ouch but at least it was a no quibble exchange.

Yup - But no stock in that size anywhere. There was shortage. First time I had asked for the tyre fitter to keep the old tyres (as they were still very good) and managed to sell them secondhand to a taxi driver ahem private driver who apparently bought lots of those from people who had a similar situation Laughing Ah well good for him, clever enterprising.

It is the one thing I don't like that much about the 22" wheels, choice is limited as well but to be honest I'd just go for Pirelli anyway for this car...
