2007 Bluetooth; echo echo echooooo

HI everyone,
MY 2007 Vogue L322 gives a horrible echo to the person on the other end of the line. I've googled and searched here, and see others have had similar, but for the life of me I can't find that anyone's discovered a solution.
Is that still the case?!
Thanks!
Tony

Yes I do - both my wife's phone and mine do it, suggesting it's car related?

So I looked at turning down my phone, but there's no control over that when it's linked to BT (Samsung S10).

I turned down the volume on the radio, apparently it helped the caller at the other end but of course then struggled to hear myself.

Seems like there's no real known cure?

done a search on the forum and it could be,

the FF microphone so you might have to replace it,
padding out the rear of the microphone with foam
or, a faulty bluetooth unit...moisture in the cubby??? ... - .- -.

The cubby seems particularly fine - I did have a good look. Interestingly from searching around it seems that it's common to many, rather than a specific problem.

I'll investigate the mic itself. I feel a bit impotent with it; there's not a lot to change, certainly in settings and similar

Not something I would know but does a 2007 have the upgraded mic and would it help any body have an idea on that, changed the mic in mine having done the bluetooth upgrade thing.
