United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Baltic Blue

I didn’t buy, but made it…
I’ve lost count of the number of rubber attachments I’ve fitted, so decided to try a home made wire version.

You know you could sell that on eBay, think a few others wouldn’t mind using that!

A new battery as it threw a wobbly on the way to work this morning, fingers crossed it’s now sorted.

My 2011 4.4 TDV8 treated itself to a new O/S/R height sensor telling me it wanted one in the time honoured way - a bong and a lovely dash message followed by an enforced 30mph drive home (a fortunately short one) in a Lowrider stylee.
It's not something I would want to do too often, hazards on, hugging the side of the road where sunken drains and potholes lurk, bouncing like a demented kangaroo and looking up at Mazda MX5s!
Lucky to have a great LR indy 10 miles away who with no notice at 8am on a Monday morning took the car in and £213 later a new sensor and suspension check and calibration saw normal service (and ride height) resumed.
Ron Thumbs Up

Spain 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Baltic Blue

Gave Westie her annual service.

I changed the brand of parts I used this time around. I moved from genuine LR parts and Valvoline oil to Febi Bilstein/Bosch and Liqui Moly oil. I also did a Liqui Moly engine flush and used their 'Ceretec' ceramic coating additive. The parts seem like-for-like quality.

Cleaning the MAF sensor seems to have made an incredible difference to throttle response.

Finally found this little b@stard

And restored both HDC and LOW range switches in working order...

And saved € 200-560

Reconnected the headlamp washer pump and fixed the washer jets until I can find some new caps...
