The Land Rover Mechanic told me the rod punches out left to right and I have tried with a punch and hammer but it didn't come out and i was afraid to force it. Is there a shop manual that explains how to remove it? |

Looking at the WM, it looks like the lid has to be raised when you drift the pin out. |

Yes, thats all I have as well. I will try with lid open though. Most RR stuff is not that complicated but this has me stumped. |
