Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and in need of help if poss, I have a 2015 L405 range rover and have SOS system fault i have been advised to change the small battery pack inside the telematics box, does anyone know where this box is located??? I have the battery pack ready to replace.

I have looked for the telematics box as shown on the diagram but it isn't there?? I have heard it could be in the roof lining ?? Does anyone know??

I’ve removed the lower dash as that’s where I thought it was, but it’s not there. Current > FFRR 2018 3.0 SDV6

I took my TCU out overnight and plugged back in this morning. My issue has been that I have no Wi-Fi and a data SIM card won’t work. I wasn’t expecting this to fix it, but I thought I would try it before anything else.

I’m planning on ordering a secondhand TCU from eBay and give that a shot. It’s certainly not worth the cost of a brand-new unit to my mind.

I know there is a level of programming required, and I have a Kingbolen K10 that has some TCU functions.

Anyone know if a second hand might work? Current > FFRR 2018 3.0 SDV6
