I can see that this thread is a little old but Im in the same situation as the OP.

I have a 2021 range rover Westminster with the dark wood trim. I really want the satin straight walnut veneer. The pictures in the thread of the cherry wood are just beautiful.

What are my options on changing the wood trim. I called the dealer and the parts alone (all wood pieces in the car in satin straight walnut veneer) are about 15k!!!!

Are there aftermarket options? I check eBay often but i have not yet come across a full set of the Satin straight walnut veneer. Any other sites i should be checking to find these parts

You could do a search to see if there's anyone offering a Hydrographics service near you. On my last L322 I had the Cherrywood changed to a carbon fibre look. The place I used in the UK has a couple of wood finish options, Elwood being the nearest probably.

But I'm sure many others may be available elsewhere. The carbon fibre finish achieved on mine was spectacular I thought and well under £1k for all of the pieces. Mike - MPx

Wow! Thanks for the info! Much appreciated!

Ive never heard of hydrographics so I'm not at all familiar with the process.

When you had the trim on your L322 done do youind giving me a little more info on it?
Do you know how or what exactly they do?

Do they remove your current trim pieces and sand them down and then recover them? Or is it more of a wrap that can be removed?

Is this process revereavle?

How did it come out? Does it look like it's from the factory?

Most of the trim change places do it on an exchange basis. Some you take your stuff off and they then work on your pieces or send replacements. Others will send replacements and then expect to get your old ones back in exchange.

Have a look at the thread I did on my change. Very dated now as that was 2017 but I expect the principles will remain the same. https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic42403.html

If you click through to the Garnish website it explains how Hydrographics is done. Its non-reversable - but you can always buy another finish! In my view better than factory finish but everyone's taste varies.

As with all things, not all shops are the same so you'll need to find somewhere accessible in the US that does it and then make a judgement about how good they are. Alternatively you may be able to get Garnish to do something for you and just send a set across the pond - but obvs likely to be much more expensive than a local place. If you want to discuss further, James was very helpful if he's still there. Mike - MPx

After spend 1k you will have interior trim finished Vauxhall Vectra style - Great idea! Laughing
On the pictures you can't tell difference, but when you look at it in real you will be dissapointed.
Find someone who can replace rear veneer on it.
