Did you mark/reference the propshaft position? it might be worth rotating 90 degrees in relation to the rear diff to see if that makes a difference - good or bad.

I marked the old one but changed it for a new one upon rebuilding.

I must be mad…

However, the bug for a new car has bitten me hard at the moment.

I’m sitting here looking for a high spec, clean 2012 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography, a non black on black on black L494 Sport SDV8 Autobiography Dynamic or a Loire Blue L405 SDV8 Autobiography with black interior.

Late L322’s seem expensive when compared with the price of early L405’s these days.

I really can’t figure out which is worth a look at.

I just fancy a change to be honest. It’s unusual for me to keep a car for a long time and next week is 2 years of this one. Laughing

Have pretty much decided on a 4.4 TDV8 at the moment.

Still pondering whether it’ll be in an L322 or an L405 though.

I’d like to keep this SC due to the work I’ve done to it but the wife is very keen that this one or the XFR go. Seems pointless to have 2 RR’s so I’ll likely keep the XFR and get a newer RR I reckon.

You will have people smashing the doors down to get their hands on your SC. Someone is going to get very lucky!

David,

You are only allowed to buy a new car (please dont sell the SC !) if you promise to take it apart, rebuild it to better than before and fully document it on here Very Happy Gavin

That's a good point actually... Mine is still registered as dual fuel, I need to sort that out since I removed the LPG.

If anyone lives in a ULEZ zone with a TDV8 and wants an SC, give me a shout as there may be a solution that benefits us both.

England

Once people cotton on about ulez and how it effects them the market will be flooded with derv burning motors. Tdv8s will be plenty full. I'm sure someone on here will be looking to swop.
Iv purchased a 4.2 sc sport initially for the wife to replace her tdv6 D3 but it's to small so now have a V8 D3 sitting here for her.

It looks like I mite not get the ulez exemption on my L322 so that will have to go being the non sc model .

Straight swap for a Supercharged 322? Laughing

I'd love it Craig, it's a stunning, stunning car but it'll no doubt be more then I can justify.

I'm sitting here tonight on AutoTrader pondering the idea of replacing the 322 and the XFR with a Sport SVR but I've never been in an L494 Sport, let alone an SVR so I need to try and find one locally to go and have a look at I reckon.
