Transmission failure woes

Well after around 2k miles pretty trouble free after buying car lis biting me hard
After around 50 yards the trans fail or 3 comes up on dash then the HTC and abs lights on....
. Followd by air suspension inactive and battery light on. Keep going and everything goes off only to flash together or individually . Then again sometime all ok

Any ideas people

Defiantly start with Battery charge it fully then get it tested for dead cells. Dont just test for charge make sure it is still cranking at full power too. check Alternator too make sure it is giving out enough juice to charge the battery.
very common for loads of faults to appear when battery is low or not up to scratch 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current

Jack is spot on, hadn't used mine for a few days and got all the lights/faults on start up, quick run and they all disappeared after stop/restart. 2009 Range Rover Vogue 3.6TDV8, Bournville, Parchment/Navy

Will be checking tomorrow...in east Kilbride just now and around 4" snow off putting
Was out last night and on the small journey of roughly 5 mile in town all the usual xmas tree lights etc....AND headlights have a mind of there own switching off and on randomly.

Kinda tired of car already but persevering for now...looking to put it in to garage to change gearbox oil, gearbox filter and oil cooler.

After that will decide what to do with car...do like it

Check your earth and also whether the connectors are tight enough on the battery poles. they can work loose (or not be tightened up by mechs) and then you get an intermittent elec supply.

Connections good n tight...

Battery spins engine easily even after 2 or 3 days idle, starts easily and quickly. ⁶

Well left all lights and cooling fan on for about 25 mns... then tried to start car...spun easily and started immediately.
Think battery ok

Checked battery voltage when engine idling.... shock..voltages between 16.4 and 16.7 volts....oops

So replacement alternator ordered, plus when under that area will be changing water pump and viscous fan as there is play in fan.

Also looking to flushing automatic box, replace box filter, and transmission cooler

Annoyed as staying with mother as she I'll so it will be a garage as no tools with me
