Plastic Car Ramps

I have seen these ramps being used in several threads, so I asked father xmas for a set, but have only just got round to using them to level my car up on my sloping drive.
However I find the top platform a bit short and wonder if anyone has found a longer set .
I am considering trying to make a centre extension piece out of wood to extend them.
Any thoughts ??

They look like models for a hatchback. Are they really for the weight of a Range Rover and the size tyres? When I looked at ones suitable they were big, seriously big.

Amazingly you can buy these with a 7 ton rating Shocked

I looked in to these myself but was put off by the fragility of them, especially if your tyre presses on the stop at top. It seemed that most people recommended building your own out of wood but I'm not sure how these would fair on a slope 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

Mine have a slightly longer flat area and rated to 7 tons. Same as what Bodsy uses:

Thanks for the replies.
They are rated at 2.5 tonnes. I like that they are wider than the tyres so the weight is evenly spread, but just wish the top platform could be a little longer.

I tried them the other way round Greg, but no difference really, so think I will stick to this way because it is easier to see when I am nearer the top, and the front end of the car is dead level (as shown on spirit level). which is what I wanted for doing oil changes etc.

I have been in Heath Robinson mode this afternoon.
If I get 4 x 18” x 3” x7 “ pieces of timber and cut them as per my template I can increase the top platform from 11 inches to 23inches .







A 12ft length would make 8 pieces each 18” long, so just need lockdown to end and a trip to the timber merchants.
