Range Rover hood letters

I am replacing the RR letters on my hood and ordered a set from Great Britain. They arrived today in templates but the spacing is narrower by about 1/2". Are the letters spaced differently for different RR's like the Evoque?

Hi Stan, The letters are the same size but the spacing is closer. Is that what you mean?
Trying to see if I can cut and reposition template. Thanks Mike

Yes they appear to be correct. As I mentioned, the dealer installed the letters over the new 3M clear bra but installed them about 3/4" off center. I also checked with my wife's 2014 and they are also correct. Just have to cut template as D suggested and see if I can get them straight. Dealer said they would redo if I brought down but its a 3 hour drive. Mike

I’ve done this twice now with the same result, my rear template was embossed “sport”
Supplier just said they only did one template for all models.

I used 3m detailing tape to mark where the letters were before i removed the old ones.

Letters came out great! Cut template and then took measurements of all letters from the hood of my wife's bonnet. Thank you all again for your help!
