United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black
Can someone check this on a 3.6 tdv8 please.

Hi my tdv8 has a massive lag when driven or even when revved on the spot.
I have noticed it is much more responsive on the throttle, being revved in neutral with the electric handbrake off and in low range than in high range, can anyone confirm this is the same on theirs?
Its like some sort of torque limiter and I was wondering if its a software issue. Just to note it is worse then ever with the handbrake on! Cheers all.

Check you intercooler hoses, plenty of info on how to in the wiki. The top ones need to come off and be thoroughly checked.

I can’t quite see what you are getting at with the revving up?

So if you basically sit with it in, special programs off, high range, neutral, left foot on the brake and hand brake off... - it revs up ok?
If you then just put the hand brake on but still in neutral - it won’t Rev as well and feels laggy. This shouldn’t make a difference by the way.

Double check you have the special programmes turned off. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Yeah, as above. First initial knee jerk thoughts are some sort of throttle mapping issue. Not sure how hand brake should affect it though......

Thanks for the reply, I have recorded what happens, it really does seem like a throttle map issue. Almost like a restricted performance mode. No fault codes, no boost leaks, checked with a kit. Egrs are blanked and mapped out.
Live data all seems to check ok and equal on the air flow and map pressure.
I will post the video on you tube and post the link. Many thanks again guys.
