United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze
Main beam L322 Final Series

Morning,

I'm currently considering renewing the original factory fitted main beam bulbs which are inboard (marked A) and appear as two bullet shaped halogen units.

Has anyone changed these out at all? They run quite yellow so was hoping that there's a new whiter alternative.

Cheers.

Thanks Stan. So much choice but as usual it's a matter of buying the one that doesn't play up.

I don't really fancy removing the bumper to get the lamp unit out so will be looking to fit something that can be accessed using the conventional hatch.

If anyone has done this and can offer a make and model that would be great. 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

I don't know about LED replacement globes but I fitted a cheap 55W 4700K HID kit - loads more light and the same colour too.

I've ordered some H7 Philips ones which have a blue tint and are not HID but a good compromise apparently. Didn't really want to resort to the HID kits which need wiring etc.

As soon as I fit them I will report back. 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

I would think somebody had put an LED bulb in those by now…. Rightly or wrongly.

Seems all the rage.

I’m sure there was a thread recently, but can’t find it….

The LED’s to get are Phillips Ultinon.

Had the H4 ones in my shogun and the beam pattern was perfect. Passed MOT no issues at all.

Thanks Craig.

I shall investigate further then…. Hopefully there are no access issues under the bonnet and there is space to get the old bulbs out.

Fitted a pair of some Night Eye ones. As above, 10 mins to fit.

Obviously not been out in the dark yet, but in a garage with the interior light off, I couldn’t see any flickering when ignition was turned on.

Much better white light. See how we go….

Kept the originals of course…..

If using LED's I'd recommend using these 15000LM ones as they are excellent:

You'd need to fit resistors I'd reckon.

I think those are more for the H7 headlight application as they have a high and low beam facility.

I just got the below… same company…..
