Iid Tool & DPF Numbers

Playing around with my newly acquired IID Tool - are these DPF figures good or bad? Sometimes ignorance is bliss!

RR2B, this is a rabbit hole. If you want to go down it, I suggest putting the mileage up on your IIDtool and seeing how many miles per gram of soot you get. Also the Bank 1 Sensor 2 temp. If you watch those, you'll get a feel for what's happening.
The partial regen field does not populate.

However, it is worth bearing in mind this is only an actual problem for a tiny handful of the estimated 100-200,000 L322 TDV8s built, and people are often mislead because fixing the issue is counter-intuitive. They often think if the DPF is blocked it must need cleaning or removal or replacement, however the DPF itself is just a ceramic filter which is cleaned either in the course of normal driving or during a regen by having fuel dumped into it.
The DPF almost never goes wrong. In fact I can't remember anyone ever conclusively having a DPF fault - it is just a receptacle. DPF warning lights are invariably a symptom of another problem and the DPF is never the cause: the issue is how the car is used (like only doing short urban trips (go buy a VW Golf!)) or an induction hose split, MAF Filter or finite number of other causes. You can read more here: https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic48068.html

If you are not getting a Yellow or Red DPF full warning light I would leave it. Don't fix something that's not broken kind of thing. The IIDTool has an update coming which will address it anyway.
