Under sealing chassis?

Evening All,

I know the car rides on an aluminium chassis, but has anyone gone to the bother of under-sealing it and what are folks opinion?

Coming from a 2015 Disco 4 which was pretty rough underneath after a couple of years, so undersealed it and it was great. Understand that the D4 is a steel chassis, but just looking at some preventative work that I can do to prolong it's life?

Thanks

Nick R

Not sure underseal would be the best approach. Have a look see here - https://www.dinitroldirect.com/affiliated-...directory/

Not the chassis BUT, there are plenty of rusty steel parts like, rear ARB unit, fuel tank guard, steel clips & clamps holding aluminium coolant pipes to the body for example... Brake pipes! Thats what ive found on mine... Thumbs Up

Craig, can you remove the shields easily enough? Nothing to support underneath once removed.

Ours are just starting to corrode as well, might be night to whip them off and spray them with a epoxy mastic.

Thanks
