Hi Pat

When you do a search, you will see that this is a common issue.

I had the same issue, and followed the advice and had a Re-Gas...... which sorted the problem.

After having P38 Range Rovers I was over complicating the matter, I was convinced that I had a stuck “blend motor” or similar.

Well worth the money, to have the system evacuated and checked, and refilled.

( £185.00 as the Air Con gas is expensive, for the L405)

Hope this helps. Range Rover 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

I have had it done for much less in France £100.00 ish , I seem to recall RR was slightly more than for others. Might just be size, I’m not sure now.
My tractor was £75.00 (on site) and at the time the main U.K. Citroen dealer was happy to do all comers for £50.00 or so. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
