Completely seized wheel nut

Any tips on how to remove a completed seized and rounded wheel nut. Whoever put on this wheel is an absolute whopper. Tried a reverse thread bolt remover with split instantly.

Heat + impact driver. If a 12 point socket rounded it off use a 6 point. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

None fit anymore I’m afraid. Not sure if I recovery socket adapter would withstand the torque that is on it to remove.

this kind of situation is a pain....i would find an old impact socket which is slightly smaller than this nut and bang it on with a hammer...then either a breaker bar or high powered impact wrench to try and shift it..good luck. ... - .- -.

Seized nuts and bolts respond better to impact than torque IME (torque has obviously failed here). You need to send shock waves through the nut to break the friction.
This is also why wheel nuts have torque settings and not hard-as-you-can-with-a-breaker bar....... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Cheers Stan, worked a treat. Thought I was going to snap the threaded bolt
