In the recent past I've been critical of Unique Audio Developments as their system as fitted to my sons car (Audi RS4) didn't work perfectly.

They have said return the kit to them and they will give him a refund. So I think they have indeed behaved fine on the aftersales front and I need not have worried. However the problem has been exacerbated by the "specialist" who sourced the unit and fitted it. He understandably does not want to give the fitting cost back but has agreed to take the system out and return the car to its original spec without further charge.

Happy to correct my original statement about UAD after-sales, obviously the argument continues with the "specialist", but I see both sides of this argument. He did spend time fitting it and did a good job, also will take it out FOC so maybe he has a point but its still £170 but at least not £700. I guess as its sold as a "fit it yourself" sort of kit this isn't actually simple, maybe a compromise can be reached. Geoff

Hi, I fitted the Unique developments box to my 2015 L405 last night, and while it works well there is quite a lot of noise via the Aux socket. I've added a ground loop isolator and this has removed 80% of the noise but is still not perfect. I'm interested to see if anyone else has had the same experience? Thanks

Yes, unfortunately that's how the kit works.

Their are lots of different types of Bluetooth transmitters on eBay ??
Would plugging the 3.5mm audio into one of these then tuning in on FM help ??

I've ordered one of these to try and convert the AUX coming out of the unique develpments box to bluetooth https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B094XR...&psc=1 then just connecting that to the cars bluetooth like normal.

Yes mine works the same way and that's my issue too along with my steering wheel FF RR buttons not working...

I listen to my music through Spotify So, if I change the car output to Bluetooth instead of Aux and then if I change the device in Spotify App to my car rather than CarPlay (but leave CarPlay connected to Bluetooth too) it works perfectly... Better sound quality, all buttons function correctly and phone calls work as they did before...

It then just needs me to change the device in the Spotify App next time I cycle the ignition... So not too much of a PITA but it would be great if I could find a way of changing the priority permanently... Thumbs Up
