United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Silicon Silver

Now just passed my 1st anniversary since paying over the deposit...

Has anybody received their car or confirmation of delivery date from the dealer in Peterborough UK?

Ordered a D350 AB.

Many Happy Returns Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I'm a couple of days away from 16 months since paying my £5k deposit, so don't take it personally, you're not on your own.

I started with a P530 order (which is where I should have probably stayed), then I switched to a P440e PHEV in February 2022 for tax benefit reasons, which probably didn't help.

D350's are out there, at the end of the day, that's nothing any of us can do except wait.

It’s a year this week since I placed a deposit, switched to phev as soon as I could. The car arrived at the dealers yesterday, so many things can influence I really think it’s luck of the draw. Hang in there. MY23 PHEV HSE

17 months here too..... just keep getting fobbed off despite opening 2 complaint cases with JLR's Executive Office! They just don't seem to care or be able to resolve anything....

Whatever they are doing, it's profitable. I guess customers sticking with them no matter how they are treated is helping....

This thread just prompted me to check with the dealer if there was any progress.

Well, amazingly, after 17 months I have finally got a build date of mid March.

Progress at last, but I will not be letting myself get exited until I actually get a delivery date!

Don't get too excited - my car went into build and enquiring about 10 days later thinking it would all be good news got this lovely message...

.‘This vehicle is still in the build process, there are a number of reasons why vehicles are held at the moment. This is due to factory experiencing delays with deliveries from Suppliers for parts and components. The delay of supplies is due to the current climate - this has caused back logs in releasing vehicles from the factory and preventing accurate ETA. I have prioritised this vehicle with manufacturing for you.’

Seemingly no one can shed any light on when it may be built.... awesome JLR!

Yes. I am working on the assumption that the March build date will slip or it will get built and then sit at the factory for a couple of months awaiting parts!

16 months since I paid my deposit, and reading the above, I have excitedly fired off an email to my dealer.

Still find it extraordinary that nobody seems to know anything, and the timeframes involved. I sold my L405 and replaced it with a Defender 90 which is of course too small, but I have to say I'm loving it and it has taken the sting out of the long wait for the new FFRR. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

That has to be the wittiest post I have seen on this forum Rolling with laughter Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

So as part of my personal therapy i raised a complaint with JLR's executive office over late delivery/ inability to finish my build. After a very long conversation i can summarise as follows - we don't have the parts to finish the vehicle, i don't know when we will have the parts so there is nothing we can do to help, they are very sorry though!

There i am feeling better already Very Happy
