I stopped using Tanya batteries after a warrenty issue they basically said I had to return the battery at my cost they would send it to the manufacturer for testing and only then would they consider a warrenty claim.
Fair enuff I suppose, they did say I should drop test it 1st I had all ready done so and supplied a report from a mechanic. Still no joy. Warrenty ain't worth a toss.

Have you had successful warranty claims from other battery suppliers?
My biggest worry is can I get the old battery out and the new one in without hurting my back. It looks like an awkward lift and twist. Will be doing some warm up exercises beforehand....... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Bonnet needs to be in service mode. Some folk have built some sort of wooden cross brace so they can climb up and lean on top or have somewhere to put the battery down once lifted up.

Garage fitted mine “for free” as it was in for service anyway.

Think there is a how to somewhere…. You’ve prob already see it….

Halfords were good for their yuasa or whatever they are called batteries. It is easy to get them to a shop, they test and confirm it’s faulty and you get a replacement. However when I had to do that for the second time, the ease of warranty wore off. I rather have a good quality Bosch or Varta and not have to deal with returning it.

Mine arrived today and will fit it when I do an oil change at the weekend. It’s not quite as heavy as I expected so expecting it to go in without too much hassle. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

I got the same battery but fitted it myself about 5 months ago. Not programmed it yet but all good so far.
Been looking at diagnostics tools but think I’ll leave it & get it done by an indie along with a service at Easter.

New battery fitted. Not too difficult and I hauled it in and out with just one arm (and I'm not particularly strong) standing on some small step ladders. Left off the security plate for now and found a connector on the positive terminal

- I'm guessing this was for the ECU cooling fan which isn't fitted to mine? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

So down to Halfords at 15.00 to get the battery fitted. They came out with it took one look at it and said they couldn’t do it there, would need to go to a service centre
So I said put in the boot and I will fit it myself
Could I come back to get it registered
So all sorted now. Hopefully it will last for a while. Fingers crossed 2016 4.4 diesel
