Battery

Good evening gentlemen
I think it’s time to put a new battery on the car. I checked via the secret menu this morning and after a cold night was reading 11.9 volts. Engine running 14.4.
So before I purchase one are there any particular recommendations
What are halfrauds agm batteries like. Or best go to ecp?
Many thanks in advance 4.4 tdv8 2016 4.4 diesel

ECP were more expensive than Land Rover for me…..

I ended up with a genuine one when I did mine in September. 3 year guarantee with LR.

Should be AGM.

Think LR one is made by Exide.

Others have more guarantee, but might be more expensive.

I know its a different battery but Halfords for me for a normal yuasa 020 900cca was £100 with the trade card mate. That's on a 4.2 sc

Halfords were a lot cheaper than ecp. But not sure if cheaper is better. Their agm battery works out at just over 200 fitted which I thought was good value. But is it any good. Who actually makes batteries for Halfords, does anyone know. Has anyone had one and how is it performing? 2016 4.4 diesel

It’s always worth doing a price comparison on the Tayna website - usually much cheaper than ECP. 2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀
2009 3.6 V8 (MY2010) - my first ever diesel! - now also gone Sad
2004 4.4 V8 Petrol Vogue - now gone

I tend to use the battery megastore. Super fast delivery, do proper Varta and Bosch, and excellent prices.

The link above is for an 017 battery…. It’s an 019 in the 4.4.

Just looked at my paperwork… was 3 year warranty with the genuine one, not 2 as I put above (edited it now).

I paid £158.64 inc VAT for a genuine one. Might be worth ringing your local dealer and seeing if they can do you a deal.

Yes I looked into that but It's exactly the same spec in terms of size and performance as an 019 but has a 3 yr instead of 5 yr warranty. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
