Hi Looking for some advice about the crossover valve that goes between the two turbos I have been advised that I need to replace mine. (I have had a restricted performance warning and boost code warning) Has anyone any ideas about this where it is how much would it cost and can i do it myself

I presume you are referring to the turbo CSOV.

Mine is a 4.4 tdV8 L322, but the L405 is very similar.
Mine was the old design and replaced under warranty with the later L405 type , when it stuck and caused the car to go into restricted performance every time I got the revs up to 2,500 rpm.

It’s a fairly easy job if you get the front of the car raised and work from underneath., although it can be seen from above if you look down to the right behind the radiator.

I have just noticed that your L405 is 2013, so it is very possible that it will have the earlier nut type.

If so, you can get to the nut from the top by simply removing the throttle body hose .
If you slacken it off and give it a good squirt of WD 40, it may well free it enough to give a repair until you can replace it.
