Here are some daylight pictures of the towbar fitted, and some pictures from my first time towing with the L322.
I don't know what I expected, but what a fantastic tow car. So smooth! and the power means you don't even feel like you're towing!

Here is the towbar:

Think it looks just as good with a bit of dirt as it does clean!

As towing vehicles go, it is sublime.

So my current battery still hasn't gone flat since the FSR was replaced. But for good measure, this will be going in this weekend.

A new warning light has appeared. From a quick google - doesn't appear to be anything major, so will investigate this weekend. Just interested to hear people's thoughts.

Now for the usual photo spam!
My L322 has now become my go-to towing vehicle over my pickup.
It has also been used this week to ferry about a few fence posts as I've been preparing for some new arrivals here.

Update.

So there is still a slight battery draining issue despite replacing the FSR and the hvac panel. Takes about 5 days to go flat now instead of 1.

Managed to pick up one of these off eBay. So will be calibrating the suspension myself when I get the time.

Solved the battery drain finally, in a rather crude way. My car had it's amplifier removed by the previous owner due to water ingress, so removed the fuse for the entertainment system. So my head unit no longer works, but the car now has enough battery to start when left for over a week. Happy trade off considering the radio didn't work anyway! The plan is to get some form of aftermarket head unit/amplifier/sound system anyway.

Didn't get on with the GAP iid tool - so bought an icarsoft diagnostic tool instead, which reset my air suspension no problem.

So... My L322 has been parked up for a little while. Alternator seized. Have sourced a replacement alternator, but having some real bother removing the fan to get to it! Have bought the correct tools for locking the water pump wheel etc, and am aware of the left hand thread. Is just awkward!
Has got to the point that I'm considering removing the whole front end to access it easier...

Have also been distracted by another ongoing project....
One day they will all be finished!!

After many awkward hours, and a number of sore knuckles... the fan is finally off. Will get the alternator done this evening, so should be back on the road by tomorrow!

Also noticed some surface rust coming through. Really should have cleaned the car a bit before leaving it sat for over a month.

I'm now on the hunt for some new tyres. Leaning towards some all terrains, any brand/size recommendations?
