Interesting. I have just bought a 2007 4.2SC and used the 2121 pairing - I’ve got an iPhone 7 - and I have to re-pair every time I get in.

No direct help, but I’m sure the older BMW system paired with 4 then each new one made it forget the one connected with the longest time period ago.

Get rid of the Apple rubbish, my Blackberry pairs and works perfect every time.

My FF2009 facelift model according to the manual remembers 5 phones, I can't see the phonebook, no surprise really, the phone is anything but a smart phone. needs to pair every time I start the car, SWMBO's apple 8 pairs automatically, never tried the phone book... |
