150K miles coming up soon

All,

The L322 AB Black will hit 150k miles soon.

I religiously change fluids every year, engine, gearbox, transfer box and diffs. Yep, overkill, but zero harm to change it every 12 months around MOT time.

Thoughts on preventative maintenance items I should replace now before they hit their end of life. Yep, I know “ain’t broke…”

Braking system is getting a full refurb next month.

Recommendations to what else to do?

Thinking fuel injectors, pulley bearings, and viscous fan bearings, they are noisy, water hoses.

Thoughts, thanks

How deep is your wallet and how many miles are you doing a year and how long are you intending to keep it?
Easy to spend serious £££ replacing stuff as preventative maintenance but unless something is showing signs of failure ( like the Aux belt and running gear are) I'd leave alone. Mind you if you are doing the aux belt the major work is getting to it so it's maybe worth thinking about replacing the alternator and waterpump while you are at it.
I'd think about 2x year oil change unless you do very low miles. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Thanks, clearly don’t want to go silly, as I say, “ain’t broke” but the bearings at the front need doing, so.

Yes, sorry, forgot to mention, oil changes every 3-4K, but it only will do 8K this year, then at MOT time, Nov, all fluids changed. Thumbs Up Check out my YouTube channel

Front aux belts, bearings and tensioner are a normal replacement / service item at higher miles. Don't delay if they are noisy. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Thumbs Up agreed, as they are going in there, that’s why I want some advice on what else to do while is apart. Check out my YouTube channel

I'd defo do the alternator then at that mileage. Had the water pump done on mine as it was leaking but not sure if it's a common fail but they are not too expensive. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

I've just done everything on the front of my engine mate, all pulleys, tensioner, water pump and while I was there the alternator as well.
I can't stress enough to get genuine parts though. I was sent a pattern tensioner and the quality of it compared to a genuine was was terrible.

Starter motor maybe too. They get a lot of abuse turning a 4.4L engine.

And also a full automatic transmission service plus mechatronic sleeve, valve seal and new sump. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
