Classic[?] failures with 100000 Miles 10yo TDV8 FFRR...

OK, I knew what I was doing, 6 months ago, buying a 10 years old RR L322 2012 vogue with 160000km.
here is the list of my experiences so far :

- had to change the 4 tires that weren't the right size (255 55 20 in lieu of 255 50 20) --> 1000€ (1/2 taken by seller)
- oil leak on the oil filter - classic burnt gasket --> 1500€ (1300 taken by car warranty)
- last a week ago, 2 pneumatic shocks (the car was tipping to the left on its rear wheels) and a failing EGR that filled my DPF up the snuff, going full red alert on the dashboard and in limp mode, that will need replacement (EGR) and regenerating (PDF), that last episode will cost me a mere 5000€ (1500max taken by the car warranty)

a grand total of 7500€ of which i will have paid 4200€ Big Cry

SO my question is:
1- WHAT IS NEXT ?
2- WILL I have a reliable car now ?

I still love the car though (I heard someone say it's a disease ?) Rolling with laughter

----> see last post pointing to DrRob list of what to expect Bow down

Cheers "it needs some intelligence to undestand you may not have enough"

It can be seen as being a bit fun though... these are all textbook L322 failures.
I'm a fatalist !
once I've replaced all the breaking parts I'll have a new car, no ? Rolling with laughter "it needs some intelligence to undestand you may not have enough"

Thanks Merchy,

I kind of did this post on purpose...
I don't blame anyone, I knew what I was doing but I wonder if everyone does?
It could be useful to have a recap of sort, something upfront on the forum...:

"You who intend to buy a fullfat with 100000Miles, here is what to expect and follow up close [here list with wiki pointers], If you're a full blown mechanic, you'll find everything here to help you DIY., If you're not, still a load of excellent recommendations by devotees that like you love their FF, yet sometimes cry at night." Rolling with laughter

and yes I will keep you posted on that happened (I asked the mechanic to keep the failing parts so I can make some pictures

Cheers

that's the thing...the only warning I had was a direct full red "DPF full, go to dealer" warning and a car in limp mode. I never had a DPF yellow warning.

Went to the dealer and that's what. Couldn't do any regen in limp mode (I checked on the wiki) so basically I was Censored

The head mechanic told me that a failing EGR like mine will never recover and its "warning" is impossible to erase. "it needs some intelligence to undestand you may not have enough"
