So I reset the battery this evening.... but no luck Big Cry

Screen is just saying land rover and light is flashing. Didn't get chance to check fuses yet but will do tomorrow.

Is there any specific fuse that controls the MOST system.?

I did read on here that it could be the Nokia module in the boot, mine does have this as I noticed it today.
It just seems strange everything was working until the sills where done.

Surely if a wire was melted other things would be Censored there selves as well, but it drives fine.!

The polymer 'cable' that the MOST uses would be more susceptible to heat than the copper wiring, it does sound like heat damage given the only thing that has changed is the welding to the body. To coin a phrase, if you hear hooves, think Horses, not Zebras. The most likely explanation (heat damage) is the most likely cause. Get yourself a MOST test loop from fleabay and connect each module's MOST with it, if everything comes back to life - then the module currently bypassed has an issue, if not, then it's the polymer fibre 'wiring' at fault.

Ok cheers phoenix Thumbs Up

Found one on amazon so its ordered hopefully it is something simple.

Is there a test point close to the radio.?

If it is heat damaged I imagine its at the back arch, so if there's a point to test before the arch that would be great.

Also if the cable is damaged and no good, is it fixable.?

You need to go to each module in turn, disconnect the MOST and connect your test adaptor to the cable, the radio tuner is behind the glove box so I'd leave that until last and start with the stuff in the NSR, there's no need to disconnect the screen as you know that is working... Have you been able to get any DTC's from the vehicle?

I dont have a code reader yet, if I decide to keep it I will invest in one, that was my plan anyway.

So I just looked at the fuses in the glovebox the ones with the headphone symbols on, and they are all fine.

So I took out the connector on the Nokia Bluetooth module, then I started the engine. The cable is lighting up red inside, it was flashing for a few seconds then went out it must of realised it was unplugged.

Is this a sign the cable is not damaged.?

It's a sign that the downstream module is communicating - the whole 'daisy chain' needs to be intact otherwise you get nothing.

Here is the MOST ring for my 08MY, yours should be similar

Would it be worth a try doing the pen trick to see if it responds

Try this:-

https://www.fullfatrr.com/gallery/albums/u...20L322.pdf

The 'pen trick' is just the same as the test loop but you have to remove the optical fibre from the housing, just make sure you mark which fibre goes in which cavity. Or wait until you have the test loop.

It was the Bluetooth module, I did the pen and tape and it came straight on.
Its a bit odd though as it was fine until the welding was done, maybe it had something to do with the battery im not sure.
I will say my compartment is a bit of a mess, its full of stuff in there theres loads of cables for the rear screens, a 240v transformer and cables left off a PlayStation 2. I was wondering what the screens where for in the back as they power on but nothing displays, it must be for the missing ps2. Theres some sort of transmitter which has cables all over the place.

Is it worth replacing the Bluetooth module or does it only work with a Nokia phone.?

It works with most phones - mine is a OnePlus 9 and it works as expected. Worth checking the tailgate seal for water ingress, the Bluetooth module is usually the first one to suffer.
