It’s been a good result ,and goes to show that anyone can get a good standard of repair by themselves, all the prep work is easy and is what gives the final result!

Still have to put the car back together and rub it down polish etc but I’m very happy with the end result.

Brave to take that on, well done. Imagine your new skills will come in handy in the future one way or another.

Awesome job! Thumbs Up Bow down
You must have a great sense of satisfaction on the result, -will you be doing the other side soon? Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Some dopey Censored backed into my rear quarter, it's going in next week to be assessed, their insurance, hopefully repaired as otherwise mint, if not, i'll be round, Very Happy , top job done on that, well done. Luckily, bumper is ok on mine. would hate it written off just for that, but could happen in todays world......

Thanks for the support lads Cool Cool

That’s a pain in the ass with the damage on the qtr panel ! It’s an easy enough fix.

There’s nothing worse when you have a well minded car and then you get visible damage on it , a well minded l322 with few problems is hard to find as there getting on but what a wonderful car to drive Bow down Bow down

Managed to get the other side blended in and got a bit of polishing done.

Ran out of daylight to get bumper bar back on. Still have a bit of the boot area trim to fit, will hopefully get that sorted tomorrow evening if I get home early enough from work !

Next weekend I’ll probably give the inside and outside a proper clean .

Have to say it has been a more than manageable job to do. There was a lot of steps to the process but breaking it down and doing each bit as needed it’s a more than possible to do it yourself at home.

Will say if anyone if looking for advice on paint guy called the gunman on YouTube is absolutely awesome. He gave me all the information on paint from watching a half dozen of his videos.

So finally got around to fitting bumper and getting all the trim back together ! Weather was good so had a few beers and gave the car a good polish. It’s as good as new now!
